For next, Ashwni Dhir wants lucky mascot Ajay Devgn

Ashwni Dhir says he would like to team up with Ajay, his "lucky mascot".

Mumbai: Writer-director Ashwni Dhir, who has given two successful films – ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?’ and ‘Son Of Sardaar’ with Ajay Devgn - says he would like to team up with his "lucky mascot" in his next film.

"I am scripting two-three projects right now, but I don`t know which film will go on the floors next. But definitely I will cast Ajay Devgn in my film. I am very comfortable working with him," Dhir told reporters. "I did `Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge? And `Son Of Sardaar` with Ajay and both did well. He is my lucky mascot. I am scripting something special for him. Let`s see how things fall in place," he added. With next projects, the director, whose forte has been comedy, plans to experiment with different genres. "As a director I want to try my hands with various genres and who wouldn`t like to do that? As I said before, I am scripting two-three projects - one is an emotional-action drama, other is a romantic comedy. So let`s see which one goes first on the floor," said Dhir. IANS
