Alternate scenes shot for `Kya Super Kool Hain Hum` for TV

After the TV debacle of `The Dirty Picture`, producer Ekta Kapoor has shot for alternative scenes of her latest adult comedy `Kya Super Kool Hain Hum` for tv viewing.

Mumbai: After the TV debackle of `The Dirty Picture`, producer Ekta Kapoor has shot for alternative scenes of her latest adult comedy `Kya Super Kool Hain Hum` for television viewing.
"I have already sold the satellite rights. I sold it long time ago. We have worked on alternate scenes for TV viewing of the film. We have alternative scenes for satellite and I saw to it, that it doesn`t go dirty," Ekta told PTI. `Kya Super Kool Hain Hum` is a sequel to the 2005-hit `Kya Kool Hain Hum` and has been given `A` certificate, considering the double-meaning jokes. Vidya Balan`s portrayal as southern siren Silk Smitha in `The Dirty Picture` was set for its worldwide TV premiere in May. Despite the film being submitted with 59 cuts, it wasn`t allowed to be aired because of its bold content. "I don`t think anybody would deny the fact that `The Dirty Picture` is a film that women should see more than anybody. We have had ladies shows with packed houses and there were women who told us that we will never look down on a girl who does an item number ever again. I think we aren`t going forward, we are going backward," Ekta said. Ekta thinks the industry needs to come together and fight. "In present scenario I don`t know what all I may have to re-shoot. We are planning as an industry to get together and fight. There are various progresses that we have made as an industry. It`s not something that should be taken lightly. It`s a question on the basics of creativity," she said. Directed by Sachin Yardi,`Kya Super Kool Hain Hum` features Tusshar Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias. The film earned approximately Rs 29 crore at the box office, but was panned by critics. PTI
