Jennifer Lopez to perform on `American Idol` finale

Los Angeles: Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez is reportedly roped in as one of the performers on the two-part finale of popular reality show `American Idol`.

The 43-year-old has earlier been on the judging panel along with Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson in the eleventh season of the singing competition. She will return to the show as a musical guest on either the first or second night of the two-part finale to be aired in Mid-may, Ace showbiz quoted sources. Lopez is currently with her next studio instalment. One of the tracks in the new instalment, will be a collaboration with Chris Brown. Besides, her performance gig, recently it was rumoured that she is wanted back as a judge for the ‘Idol’ next season. PTI
