London: Daniel Craig says he has to work hard at comic moments in the James Bond films and relies heavily on great writing to pull off light-hearted scenes.
The 44-year-old actor, who has played the British spy in two movies and is reprising the role in ‘Skyfall’, said he could never do a Sir Roger Moore-style of Bond, reported Daily Star.
"Sir Roger Moore was about sending it up and that`s not me. I kind of have to act it. I`m not James Bond. You know me well enough to know there`s a difference between Bond and me.
"I know I`m not funny-funny. So I have to work at it to find these comic moments. But if there`s a good story, then I feel quite confident. That was always the plan with `Skyfall`, and it relies on great writing and a good director," he said.
