Mumbai: One of the most awaited films of the year, ‘Talaash’ starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor is slated to release on November 30. And the film has been in news since its inception stage.
Buzz had it that Aamir apparently had a fall out with his director Reema Kagti. But the actor-director refuted such rumours and said that all is indeed well between them.
Aamir, who is known to be a thorough professional, does not want his team to give any clarifications regarding his film being inspired by many other films.
Talking to a daily, a source said, “Even though rumours have been doing the rounds, he has told the team to not say anything. He wants everyone to focus on the promos.”
‘Talaash’ is being compared to Tamil film ‘Anniyan’ starring Vikram and Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Shutter Island’. But Aamir wants his team to refrain from addressing questions regarding its content.
“He has been in touch with Reema and the marketing heads. He has kept track of every detail. In all likelihood, Aamir is expected back in India by October-end. Then he will start promoting the film,” added the source.
And since the order has come from Aamir, his team can do little but follow it!
