Mumbai, Aug 15: To accommodate the heavy rush of passengers following the cancellation of Jan Shatabdi Express from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon, Central Railway has decided to run special super-fast train between Lokmanya Tilak terminus to Thivim with effect from 16th August 2003 on wards. The onward connection to Madgaon will be provided by DMU services from Thivim by Konkan Railway, a CR release said here today.

Passengers holding confirmed reservation tickets of 2051/2052 Jan Shatabadi Express will be accommodated in this super-fast special train 2051-A/2052-A. Further, booking of accommodation will be provided in 2051-a-2052-a superfast special on all computerised reservation centres with effect from 16.8.2003.

The super-fast special train 2051-a/2052-a will leave/arrive Lokmanya Tilak terminus at the same timing of 2051/2052 and will have the same stoppages as that of Jan Shatabdi Express due to disruption of train services on Konkan Railway as announced earlier on July 17. Bureau Report
