Whitney Houston’s daughter observes first birthday without mother

Washington: Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina turned 19 on Sunday, three weeks after her mother’s demise. The teenager marked her first birthday without the singer, who was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room in Los Angeles on February 11.

Bobbi Kristina was so upset by her mother’s death that she was subsequently hospitalised and treated for extreme stress and anxiety. According to a magazine, she has reportedly spent her birthday with family members and has been “getting along a bit better” with her grandmother Cissy. “Bobbi is now with the family and going through the grieving process just with them... Cissy has a team of people helping her (Bobbi) through this... right now, the goal is to make her feel special and loved,” a website has quoted a source as telling the publication. Bobbi Kristina is Houston’s only child with former husband Bobby Brown. ANI
