Mumbai: It’s not for nothing that Aamir Khan has earned the tag of ‘the perfectionist’ in B-town. This Khan wouldn’t compromise on anything in order to make his film - simply the best. It’s because of this obsession for the finest, that Aamir Khan recently locked horns with the director of his forthcoming film ‘Talaash’.
Buzz has it that Aamir and Reema Kagti was at loggerheads recently concerning some sequences in the film. According to sources, Aamir was not satisfied with the final cut of the second half of the film and suggested that the entire part be shot again.
And as a matter of fact, before any of his films’ release, Aamir makes it point to show it to a select group of friends and relatives. And according to sources AK’s friends were not really impressed with certain sections in the second half of ‘Talaash’.
So, Aamir recommended to reshoot the whole of second part and insisted on sitting through the final edit.
At this point, Kagti reportedly lost her cool and refused to reshoot. This led to an altercation. But Aamir reportedly is in no mood to listen to Kagti.
‘Talaash’, a Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani production got delayed because Aamir was occupied with ‘Satyamev Jayate’. The film, which was supposed to release in June, got postponed to hit theatres in November.
When contacted by a daily, Kagti insisted there was no showdown at all. “Both Aamir and Farhan are happy with the film and ‘Talaash’ will release on November 30,” Reema Kagti told the media.
