Mumbai: Well this is ‘seriously’ funny. Shah Rukh Khan has some role to play in the UP elections. Wondering what? Well…here’s something that will tell you what exactly the Bollywood star would do with the elections. Apparently a friend of King Khan sent him a text message talking about how the assembly elections reminded him of the film ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’. Talking about his friend’s text message, SRK tweeted, “My friend msged me..UP elections remind him of Dil to Paagal Hai. Rahul is after Maya...even the song haathi jaisi soondh...chak dhum dhum..(sic).” For those who are still whacking their brains, here’s an explanation. Shah Rukh Khan played Rahul while Madhuri Dixit played Maya in the film ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’. Rahul kept following Maya in the film and in real Rahul Gandhi is chasing Mayawati in the election. A song titled ‘Ghode jaisi chaal haathi jaisi dum’ also featured in the film and look at the coincidence. Mayawati’s paty’s symbol is an elephant! Super connection Mama!
