New Delhi, Sept 15: The Supreme Court today issued notice to the Maharashtra government on the ongoing controversy over quota pertaining to admissions in private UN-aided Medical and Engineering Colleges in the state and ordered status quo in the admission process. A bench comprising Justice S Rajendra Babu and G P Mathur asked the state of Maharshtra to file its reply within two weeks and directed listing of the petitions by UN-aided professional colleges immediately thereafter.
