Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan is Salman’s new friend

Mumbai: It’s a dream wish for any new actor to be under the wings of Salman Khan. Given the success one enjoys after being inducted in Bhai’s camp, friendship with Salman Khan is like a stamp to stardom. Even though Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja is a sensation down south, he would have to walk that extra mile to establish foothold in Bollywood. And what better advantage he could get than develop kinship with the dabangg of the town Salman Khan. Teja has caught Salman’s fancy as he gears up for his Bollywood debut with the remake of ‘Zanjeer’. Ram Charan plays Vijay, one of the many roles that Amitabh Bachchan rocked during the early years of his career. While Salman and the Bachchan family may not see eye-to-eye, his fondness for the new Vijay has got a lot of industry insiders talking. Recently, a parcel of home-made biryani was sent by Salman for Teja, and the gesture seems to have confirmed the bond between the two actors. A source said, “Salman and Ram Charan are very close. They have been so for a while now. Since Ram is shooting in Mumbai now, Salman has decided that they should catch up as often as possible. The two met for dinner last week at Salman`s house. Earlier this week, Salman sent Ram Charan a special biryani to the sets of Zanjeer.”
