Washington: Cate Blanchett has revealed that she is scared of what treatments like plastic surgery and Botox “mean for women long-term”.
The Australian actress, famous for her flawless skin, is the face of the Japanese skincare brand SK-II.
“I’m not sitting on a soapbox telling women what they should and shouldn’t do,” People magazine quoted her as telling Fashion ETC.
“I just know what works for me. I’d be too frightened about what it means long-term. Looking at women in their 20s doing this stuff, in the end all you see is the work. It doesn’t fill me with admiration; it fills me with pity,” she said.
