London: New mother Adele plans to write about motherhood in her next album and wants a happy record in contrast to her previous records, which were based on heartache and failed relationships.
The 24-year-old `Someone Like You` hitmaker gave birth to a baby boy with charity boss boyfriend Simon Konecki, 38, reported Daily Mirror online.
"I really want to release a happy record now. I have never been happier. I have written some stuff and I will release it when I`m ready," a source quoted Adele as saying.
US-based collaborator Dan Wilson also confirmed a new album is in the pipeline, saying, "`She`s never been happier. Adele is in a good place. I am writing as many songs as I can."
In contrast to her previous album `21` - which was centered around heartache over a failed relationship, Adele`s new songs will be upbeat and she won`t be taking a break from music, as suggested previously.
"Adele has been working for the last few months. Her music is based around how happy she is with Simon and the changes that come from being a mother. She has a few tunes and people will be surprised by the new sound, it`s incredible," the source added.
