Tom Hardy plays to prepare for tough roles

London: British actor Tom Hardy says he prepares for tough guy roles by playing board games.

"I prepared for this by playing Scrabble. It made me pretty tough because my co-star Jessica Chastain beat me. I also played Battleship," a website has quoted Hardy as saying. The actor attended the Cannes Film Festival Saturday. "I come every year to Cannes, but it`s the first time I`ve come to the parties," said the 34-year-old. IANS
