Mumbai: Television actor Srman Jain, currently seen in ‘Chanchan’, will be doing a crime show soon on Zee TV.
"I have signed a Zee show, which was supposed to start last month, but they are waiting for something. It is a crime-based show... We hope after IPL (Indian Premier League), they will start," said Srman, who is playing lead character`s brother, told reporters.
Talking about ‘Chanchan’, he said his look is different from his previous show ‘Saas Bina Sasural’ and added: "It is mature. I have changed my look and people are complimenting me. I am happy with that."
Srman is satisfied with the response to the initial episodes of the show.
"People are very excited. Few of us are from the old team. People are happy with the show. It`s entertaining," said the actor who had initially refused to do the show.
"I was roped in to do some other show as well. This is my old team of `Saas Bina Sasural`. Half of the cast is same. When I said no, they told me that they have written the role keeping me in mind. Then I had nothing to say," he added.
Describing himself as a "workoholic", Srman said: "I see myself as one of the boys of `Golmaal`, `3 Idiots`. I am looking forward to such roles."
