Mumbai: There is good news for Mallika Sherawat’s fans! The sexy siren has finally decided to get over her Hollywood obsession and move back to B-town.
According to sources she wants to give her careeer in Bollywood another chance with Sanjay Khanduri`s `Kismat, Love, Paisa, Dilli ` (KLPD) which she signed recently. The film was earlier called `Gyarah Chalis Ki Last Metro` but now the name has been changed to a funnier one, if you go by the acronym!
A friend close to the actress revealed that despite offers from big production houses, Mallika has chosen to mark her return to Bollywood with KLPD.
The friend of the actress informed a daily, "Mallika was offered a project by Vishesh Films. She had worked with the production house in Murder, the film that made Mallika a star. Also, YRF Films offered her a role in their next project. This too did not excite Mallika since the role was too small."
In the beginning of the year, it was reported that Mallika would replace Bipasha Basu in the sequel to `Jism`. As per media reports, Bipasha was approached for the role in KLPD that Mallika has now taken over.
"Mallika wanted to make a comeback as a leading lady. She is coming to next week. Her film with Vivek goes on floors on December15," said her friend.
When contacted by a tabloid, producer of KLPD, Amit Chandrra confirmed Mallika`s presence in the film and added, "We called her and pitched the film. After the initial approval, we discussed the script with her via video calls. We are happy to have her on board."
