Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur all set for Sangeet today!

Mumbai: While wedding bells ring for Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, respective houses of both the bride and the groom are dressing up in celebratory hues. Vidya and Siddharth are to host their Sangeet today, in an affair deemed extremely private. The guests’ list for the same is limited to some of the bride and groom’s closest friends from the film fraternity and the like. The private Sangeet ceremony is to take place at Vidya’s residence, and reportedly, her cousins have already prepared themselves for performing at the same. A source close to the actress has been quoted by a website as saying: “Preparations are on in full swing from Vidya`s end. While not much is known about Siddharth`s side, it is learnt that his brothers Kunal and Aditya are planning something special. Vidya`s cousins have made a medley of her hit songs and will put up a special act for the couple. They have also insisted that the actress takes part in the act and she has apparently agreed. She will be grooving to Ooh La La from her film ‘The Dirty Picture’.” Vidya, whose next on the cards is ‘Ghanchakkar’ with Emraan Hashmi, is apparently to be wrapped up as quickly as possible – thanks to its leading lady’s wedding. Since the film is being produced by UTV Films, groom Siddharth has taken adequate care to ensure that his wife-to-be’s project is completed soon. Once the two are married, they will supposedly be taking a long break. Vidya and Sid are to head to the Caribbean Islands for their honeymoon. The wedding is to take place in both Tamilian and Punjabi traditional ways at Vidya’s residence. It will be followed by a reception at Siddharth’s house. The two are set to enter wedlock on December 14, 2012.
