`2 States` to release April 18, next year

Mumbai: The release date for Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor starrer `2 States`, based on Chetan Bhagat`s bestseller of the same name, has been locked. It will come out April 18 next year.

Directed by Abhishek Verman and co-produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie is a romantic story of a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl, and the ensuing cultural clash between them and their families, said a statement. IANS
