Why Charlie Sheen roots for Lindsay Lohan

New York: Charlie Sheen has opened up as to why he continues to help out Lindsay Lohan after her many run-ins with the law.

“There is a reason that I root for [her], because we fell in love with this little girl that was just an absolute genius and had this great light about her and that’s still there,” the New York Post quoted him as telling ‘Entertainment Tonight.’ The actor famously loaned his financially troubled ‘Scary Movie 5’ co-star 100,000 dollars to help chip away at her massive tax lien. Lohan also stopped by his ‘Anger Management’ set for a cameo before she begins court-ordered rehab. When Sheen was asked if he was still worried about Lohan, he replied saying, “You have to be. But I think she seems a lot more focused now than she was five, six months ago.” “You can’t extinguish that. I root for her because when you’re that talented it just doesn’t go away. Sometimes your appetites get in the way,” he added. ANI
