Accident changed Jason Derulo’s perspective on life

London: Singer Jason Derulo says meeting with an accident and coming out of it alive has given him a fresh perspective on life.

The 22-year-old, who fractured his neck while dancing, also said he is happy that the injury let him take some time off work and relax, reported Contactmusic. "It`s called a hangman`s break. I`m lucky to be here. I view life from a different perspective now. It`s another chance to appreciate life. "It`s been go-go-go for the last few years and it`s been an amazing journey and it`s been a dream come true but I`m glad the world`s slowed down for a second so that I can have a chance to take it in and spend time with my family," Derulo said.
