Manjot Singh bags role in `Fukrey`

New Delhi: Actor Manjot Singh, who became popular with ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’, has been roped in to essay a role in ‘Fukrey’.

Pulkit Samrat and Richa Chadda play the lead in the movie, while Manjot will play Pulkit`s best friend, Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, confirmed in a statement issued Thursday. Manjot had played the character of young Lucky in Dibakar Banerjee`s ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!’. The 20-year-old had won the Filmfare critics award for best actor in 2009. Set for 2013 release, ‘Fukrey’ will see Pulkit sporting a new look. He will be seen romancing Richa, who has made her mark with ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’. IANS
