Amitabh Bachchan wishes Happy Gudi Padwa

Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan wishes all his fans, a happy and prosperous ‘Ugadi’ and ‘Gudi Padwa’.

"Happy `Gudi Padva` to all my Maharashtrian brothers and sisters... and Happy `Ugadi` to those in the Southern regions ...Naoroz Mubarak to all our Kashmiri friends," the 70-year-old tweeted. Gudi Padwa is the Marathi name for Chaitra Pratipada. The day is marked as the beginning of the New Year, according to the Hindu calendar. IANS
