New Delhi: After creative differences between Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta regarding the plot to the prequel of ‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’, there are reports doing the round that this time apparently there are differences in opinion between Kapoor and her co-producer Vishal Bhardwaj over the certain scenes of ‘Ek Thi Daayan’.
According to a tabloid, even though the movie is set to hit the theatres next month, the disagreements between the two have resulted in Ekta demanding the scenes to be reshot.
Talking to the tabloid, a source close to the unit said, “Yes, the buzz about the film being reshot is true. Unit folk have been told that there has been a creative clash between the two producers. Ekta wants to make the horror thriller more appealing to the aam janata with Vishal having no option but to let it happen.”
“Kannan has been Vishal’s assistant director so naturally he, too, is greatly influenced by Vishal’s school of filmmaking. This is something that is not going down well with co-producer Ekta,” adds the insider.
‘Ek Thi Daayan’ is a Bollywood thriller directed by newcomer Kannan Iyer and features Emraan Hashmi, Huma Qureshi, Konkona Sen Sharma and Kalki Koechlin. The movie is set to release on 18th April, 2013.
