London: Dannii Minogue has acknowledged that motherhood leads to an unstylish dress sense.
Eight months after giving birth to her first son Ethan, the Australian fashion queen has realized why all mothers look the same.
“My wardrobe has gone through massive changes since I became a mum. I used to think: ‘Why do they all look the same?’ The school run uniform was sneakers, T-shirts and scraped-back hair. And then I became a mum, and got it,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
The former X Factor judge, who went head-to-head with Cheryl Cole for years on the reality TV show, has said things are different, now that she has become a mother.
“There’s no way around it. My day-to-day look is mummy-ish. I just can’t totter around in heels carrying a 30lb baby. Flats are the only option when juggling shopping bags and wrestling a stroller. And washable tops when you’re sneezed on, puked on and having food thrown at you,” she added.
