Mumbai: Filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, known for his National Award-winning film ‘Lahore’, is set to roll the cameras for his next project, a sci-fi themed film, in October 2013.
"I am making a sci-fi film. It will go on floors in October 2013," Chauhan told IANS.
The director says the yet untitled movie is his most ambitious project, and entailed a lot of research.
"It took around two years for me to write this script. A lot of research has been done for this film. A lot of technicians from Hollywood are also involved with this project," he added.
Chauhan, who made his directorial debut with "Lahore" in 2010, also says he was keen to meet late American astronaut Neil Armstrong, who passed away Aug 25 following complications due to blocked coronary arteries.
"It is really sad I could not meet him," he said.
The director is reportedly working with international names like Wayne Sharpe for the background score and "Hulk" cinematographer Frederick Elmes, for his movie. However, the cast is still under wraps.
"I can`t reveal about the star cast right now it`s too early to talk about it. There will be multiple characters in the film," he said.
