London: Hollywood star Bruce Willis says he has learnt fatherhood from his three eldest daughters.
The ‘Die Hard’ star, who became a dad again in April after his second wife Emma Heming gave birth to daughter Mabel Ray, said raising three girls with ex-wife Demi Moore has prepared him well for bringing up a fourth child, reported Daily Express.
"Sometimes I have to resist the urge to speak. I learned it from dealing with my kids.
That`s my number one rule. It applies in life. But it`s more about being a father. I`d rather hear what they have to say. You learn more by listening... (It) is just a matter of not equating drama with actions that will help them. Teach them to shun drama," he said.
The 57-year-old action man also said he has learnt to find contentment by keeping out of the headlines and staying at home with Heming, who he married in 2009.
"I`m happy. Actively happy. I eschew turmoil... Now I`m fun, just with fewer people. I`m in love with my wife and my kids. I require very little."
