New Delhi: Comic `The Sixth: The Karna` is being adapted for a new animated TV series.
Maya Digital Studios and Vimanika comics are coming together for the project, which revolves around the adventures of a 9-year-old boy, who happens to be the reincarnation of the great warrior Karna.
The TV film will be 70 minute long, followed by a series of 11 minute stories that will be created based on this comic series.
An exclusive preview of the series will be presented at the Mumbai Comic Con 2012. The film and the show are primarily aimed at kids in the age-group of 7-10.
"For a child, comics are the first interface with reading and animation with content viewing. `The Sixth` is precisely such a highly contemporary yet traditionally rooted concept, and with our animation, we`ll take this already popular brand to an altogether new level," said Ketan Mehta, Chairman, Maya Digital Studios.
