Mumbai: Filmmaker Yash Chopra, who recently turned 80, was hospitalised here after he felt weak but he is fine now, a spokesperson for the hospital said Sunday.
Dr Suhir Dagaonkar, spokesperson of Lilavati Hospital told IANS: "Yes, he is admitted at Lilavati Hospital."
A hospital source said Chopra was hospitalised Saturday afternoon after he felt weakness. "He is fine now and is expected to be discharged in a day or two," the source added.
The veteran filmmaker has been busy shooting the film ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ as a director. The film is slated for a Diwali release Nov 13 and will see Shah Rukh Khan romancing Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
A source said: "Day before yesterday (Friday), Chopra attended a party. He felt uneasy the next day, so he was hospitalised. There is nothing serious. He will be discharged in a day or two."
Chopra is known for making hits like ‘Daag’, ‘Deewar’, ‘Chandni’ and ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’.
