Mumbai: As the 23-year-old Delhi gang-rape victim was laid to rest a couple of days back, people from across the country resorted to a new way of ushering in the New Year- by praying and hoping for an era that would make the nation a better place for its women folks. Celebrities from the showbiz industry, who had been quite vocal about their views on women’s safety issues in the country, took to Twitter to wish one and all a very Happy New Year in a rather subdued manner.
