New York: Cliff Richards has said that he will fully retire when his vocal cords give up or if audiences don`t show up at his concerts.
The legendary British musician told the Daily Express that he didn`t want to embarrass his fans or himself by singing badly to empty houses.
The 72-year-old singer said that at the moment he is still fighting fit so the word "retire" is not there in his vocabulary.
He asserted that he`s looking forward to performing his hits and also some classic rock and roll hits from the past, some of which he recorded in Nashville earlier this year and will be released before Christmas.
Richards said that there is something special about coming face to face with the audience on tour and sharing those fabulous rock and roll memories that they all have.
