Los Angeles: Singer Marc Anthony has reportedly signed up to be a mentor on the US `X Factor`.
The 43-year-old Grammy award-winning singer recently inked a deal with the FOX talent show to join the cast as a mentor alongside Simon Cowell on the talent show, helping the music mogul pick his finalists for his category, reported TMZ.
Anthony`s alleged involvement in the series comes after it was confirmed that Justin Bieber would be teaming up with judge L A Reid ahead of the live shows.
Britney Spears` fellow mentor is yet to be confirmed.
The X Factor`s hosting spot is also still vacant after Welsh presenter Steve Jones was dropped after last year`s series.
A number of high-profile names have been mentioned, including Khlor Kardashian who is being seriously considered for the job.
Kevin McHale, Mario Lopez, Stacy Keibler and Kelly Osbourne are also thought to be in the running.
