Raipur: Chhattisgarh Police on Friday issued “Wanted dead or alive” posters and declared prize money for information on the deadly Sukma attack early this week in which 25 CRPF jawans were butchered.
Besides the posters, a prize money was also announced by the Chhattisgarh Police to reward the informants, ANI reported.
Last Monday, 25 CRPF jawans were killed when Naxals ambushed their convoy in Chhattisgarh's restive Sukma district.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack and said the sacrifice of the martyrs would not go in vain.
The attack took place at around 12 pm in Kalapathar area of the district.
The Naxals have also looted their weapons after the attack.
After paying homage to the slain security personnel the next day, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the government will review its anti-Naxal strategy.
Singh said that the Maoists were seeking to destabilise development in the state.
