Demonetisation: Ola cabs to deliver cash for customers of these banks

New Delhi: If you have no time to stand in long ATM or bank queues, Ola cab may be the answer to your no-cash situation.

The Taxi aggregator is jointly working with lenders like Yes bank, Indian Overseas Bank , Punjab National Bank, and State Bank of India to carry cash to you via micro ATMs powered by the bank.

Ola has rolled cash delivery through micro ATMs in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Jaipur, in partnership with Yes Bank.

Ola cabs equipped with PNB ATM machine are delivering cash in various parts of NCR like Gurgaon, Laxminagar, Janakpuri, Civil Lines, AIIMS, Netaji Subhash Place, Manesar, Nehru Place, Bhikaji Cama Place, Mayur Vihar, Faridabad, Tilak Nagar, Rajouri Garden and Greater Kailash.  Ola-Punjab National Bank partnership is also offering mobile ATMs service in Ola cabs in Kolkata, 

The cab aggregator has also tied up with Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) to offer mobile ATM service in Chennai, whereas a tie up with SBI and Andhra Bank will facilitate the service in Hyderabad.

Currently, Ola cabs stationed in high footfall areas or near ATMs or outside the partner bank deliver cash. Soon, in a week or 10 days, the person boarding Ola cab will be able to avail the cash service. Ola's mobile ATM service allows customers to withdraw up to Rs 2,000 per card from PoS terminals.
