New Delhi: The best companies for women to work for in India 2016 list is out. And interestingly, some of then have the woman boss leading the charge. These are the companies which have taken serious policy initiatives in making it easier for women to strike work-life balance, as well as have made workplace safer for them.


Working Mother a division of Bonnier Corporation (US) that works to advocate the cause of working women and AVTAR, joined hands to launch a first-of-its kind study in India to honour companies that successfully help women have sustainable careers.


The survey scrutinised 350 companies across the country on parameters like women’s recruitment, retention and advancement, maternity benefits, safety and security, flexible work programmes, paid-time off etc.


The 10 most favorable companies for women to work for or best companies for women ( BSFW) in no particular order, are as follows:

Top 100 Best companies for women in India have ‘zero tolerance’ policy for sexual harassment at workplace.
