New Delhi: Fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya has once again come under sharp criticism from social media users for his comment on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter). Mallya had wished netizens on Dusshera, but the fugitive liqour baron was massively trolled for commenting on Indian holidays and especially on the days when banks are closed.

Mallya is accused in a bank loan default matter of over Rs 9,000 crore involving his defunct Kingfisher Airlines. Mallya has been living in the United Kingdom since March 2016. He is on bail on an extradition warrant executed by the Scotland Yard on April 18, 2017.
