New Delhi: Aussie pace spearhead Mitchell Starc produces an unplayable delivery to dismiss England batsman James Vince on Day 4 of the third Ashes Test at the WACA, Perth on Sunday. The delivery has already been hailed as the 'Ball of the Ashes', with many comparing it to Shane Warne's 'Ball of the Century', which bamboozled Mike Gatting in the summer of 1993.
With England staring a certain defeat, James Vince played a valiant knock but Starc had other plans. In the 30th over, Starc, backed by the Fremantle Doctor, produced a snorter of a delivery which took a nasty reverse swing after pitching on the crack to dismantle Vince's wicket.

The delivery soon became the talking point of cricket world with many hailing it as the delivery of this, delivery of that. Congratulatory messages flooded social media sites, with one user even saying that "Bradman's not touching that either".
Is this the ball of the 21st century ? https://t.co/nj1y7WISCY

That’s called a JAFFA! What a delivery @mstarc56 you reminded me of my bowling days and I enjoyed it to the hilt! You made left armers proud! @CricketAus

That Vince wicket ball would’ve dismissed every batsman in the history of the game. Not often you can say that #Ashes

THAT IS OUT - Don't worry James, Bradman's not touching that either. Vince (55) cleaned up by Starc and his crack. Waca pitch playing its part. 100-4

Best delivery from a left-armer in Australia since... Johnson to Pujara at the MCG, December 2014.

For Indian fans, the delivery sure reminds the dismissal of Cheteswhar Pujara on the final day of the Boxing Day Test in 2014 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, bowled by Mitchell Starc.

Rain forced early closer to fourth day's play at the WACA, but not before Australia reduced England to 132/4. The visitors still trailing by 127 runs after the hosts declared their first innings at 662/9.
England, already down 0-2 after defeats at Brisbane and Adelaide, will lose the urn if they lose the match.
