Bangladesh have taken complete control of the match. Both Shakib Al Hasan and Imrul Kayes have increased the scoring rate. Kayes reached his 100, and Shakib his fifty.

Bangladesh need another 54 runs from 60 balls.

Over 30 | Score 174/4 | (Kayes 82*, Shakib 12*)

England are chipping away with the wickets but they are desparate to get Kayes out as he is taking away the game away from them.

Over 20 | Score 114/2 | (Kayes 58*, Mahmudullah 14*)

Second wicket for Jake Ball, a sensational catch on the boundary ropes by David Willey to send Sabbir Rahman back in the pavilion. Imrul Kayes is still present at the crease, he is playing beautifully for the hosts.

Over 10 | Score 50/1 | (Kayes 25*, Sabbir 4*)

A fitting start for the hosts. Tamim blocked and thrashed some balls out of the park with Imrul Kayes on the other end. Kayes started the quest by hitting Woakes for a six in the second ball of the innings.

Jake ball on his debut, broke the partnership in his very first over. Bowled a short of a length ball, which Tamim skied it and Vince completed a clean catch in the end.

England Innings

England finished with 309 for 8 in their 50 overs. A maiden-hundred for Ben Stokes and a half-century on debut for Ben Duckett. These two had partnership for 163 runs and made England reach a respectable score. But in the end a 33 ball half-century by England's skipper Jos Buttler helped visitors to cross 300 run mark. Hosts will rue for dropping the straight forward catches. What a commendable batting performance by England.

Over 50 | Score 309/8 | (Willey 0*)

60 runs scored in the last 5 overs by England. A scintillating knock by the captain, 50 from  33 balls, at one point he was on 25 runs from 26 balls. Buttler tried to power a full-toss from Shakib out of the park, but got it from the toe end of the bat. Last ball run out for England meant they finished at 309 in their quota of overs.

Finally the partnership is broken, Duckett goes after scoring 60 on the debut. Seocnd wicket for Shafiul Islam, a full toss missed by Ben and stumps are shatterd.

After scoring the maiden ODI hundred in 98 balls, Stokes departed. Couldn't play 50 overs but never the less a wonderfull knock came to an end. When he arrived at the crease England were in a spot of bother. His innings though helped them to recover.

Mashrafe Mortaza got Moeen Ali out in the final delivery of his spell. Went for the hook to a short ball and top-edged it, Tamim took an easy catch.

Over 35 | Score 200/3 | (Duckett 53*, Stokes  88*)

Both continued the good work from England's point of view but hosts need to cling the chances provided to them by the pair. They have already dropped Stokes twice in 30 and 31 over. This may prove very costly to them in the end as Stokes is already in some red hot form.

Duckett scored his maiden half-century from 63 balls on debut. What a performance by him. Looked cool under pressure, rotated the strike well. Complete package.

Over 25 | Score 138/3 | (Duckett 32*, Stokes  48*)

This is what England wanted from these two batsman a solid partnership in the middle overs. Though 3 wickets fell in quick succession, still Stokes played the agressor's role and thrashed Bangladeshi bowler out of the park on a consistent basis. Dukcett looked calm and composed as well.

Over 15 | Score 71/3 | (Duckett 15*, Stokes  4*)

First blood for Bangladesh, change of length did the trick for Shafiul Islam. Vince tried to go straight but ball was a bit short for that kind of shot.

Roy was looking good druing his stay in the crease, he took on the experienced Shakib Al Hasan and payed the price. Came down the track and couldn't clear the ropes, Sabbir Rahman took the catch at long-off.

Jonny Baristow out for a duck, was in a hurry to open his account, a direct-hit from mid-off and he was just short of the crease.

England are in a spot of bother now, with 3 wickets down for 63 runs inside 20 overs, there is a desperate need of partnership from these two if England want to stay alive in this match.

WICKET: JM Bairstow run out 0 (3b)

Over 5 | Score 29/0 | (Roy 21*, Vince 9*)

As always Jason Roy opened his arms early for a couple of boundaries to Mashrafe Mortaza in the second over. On the other hand James Vince looked to settle his nerve in the begining. An opening partnership is required by England to put some pressure on the hosts early on in the series.

# England won the toss and have decided to bat first

The first match of the three-match ODI series against England starts off Bangladesh's quest for a seventh successive bilateral series win at home - having been unbeaten for two years.

Their latest success came against Afghanistan earlier this week, which was Bangladesh's first ODI series of 2016.

Bangladesh have a spectacular record at home - having lost only three matches out of the 20 encounters since November 2014. Tamim Iqbal has been tho home side's highest scorer while Mushfiqur Rahim and Soumya Sarkar have also impressed. Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza have have been the most reliant players with the ball but Mustafizur Rahman's shoulder injury would force them to dig deep while searching for replacements.

England, on the other hand, might lack Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales, but the likes of James Vince and Ben Duckett give them a platform to test the newcomers. Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow and Jos Buttler, now have bigger roles to play in the side for at least the next three matches.

Moeen Ali will be Bangladesh's spy to provide in-depth knowledge on the conditions having played here in two domestic tournaments. His friendship with Tamim Iqbal would also be witnessed in the tournament.

England were beaten by Bangladesh in Adelaide during last year's World Cup, but they have dramatically revamped the squad after they recently broke the record for the highest ODI score by putting up 444 against Pakistan.
