Bangladesh made a quick start with opener Tamim Iqbal making a quickfire century, scoring 104 off 147 balls, while Mominul Haque scored 66 as the hosts surged to what should have been a commanding score of 171 for one.
However, England off-spinner Moeen Ali took 5-57 and Bangladesh were bowled out for just 220 in their first innings of the second Test on Friday after losing their last nine wickets for just 49 runs.

Hosts Bangladesh lost nine wickets for nine wickets as Moeen Ali led England's fightback with a five-wicket haul.
After losing Imraul Kayes in the third over, Tamim Iqbal (104) and Mominul Haque (66) produced a 170-run stand for the second wicket, only to see the innings collapse from 171/2 to 220 all out.
Off-spinner Moeen took five wickets conceding 57 runs in 19.5 overs. Chris Woakes supported him with three wickets. Ben Stokes took two wickets.

Tamim Iqbal scored an unbeaten half-century as Bangladesh made a brisk start. The hosts reached 118-1 at lunch on the opening day after skipper Mushfiqur Rahim won the toss and elected to bat at the Sher-e-Bangla National stadium.
Tamim was on 68 at the break and Mominul Haque was 44 not out as the pair shared 117 runs in their unbroken second-wicket stand.
Chris Woakes provided the only breakthrough for England when he removed opener Imrul Kayes for one off his second over.

England won a thrilling Test at Chittagong, but Bangladesh have shown the fighting spirit and enough hint that they can beat any of the top Test sides.
And the second Test is expected to be yet another cracking affair. Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim will like to celebrate 50th Test by helping the team a win.
