Nine runs from the last four overs. And Glenn Maxwell stepped up to attack.

IND 283/4 after 45 overs | Hardik 78 , Pandey 29

Pandya continued his rampage over alongside Pandey as India need a little less than 30 in the lasst five overs. Well, for the all-rounder, he seems to have booked his ticket for World Cup 2019 with his yet another splendid show. Not only that, he has also showed his versatality coming up the order and taking India closer to the series win. Pandey too joined the party with two back-to-back boundaries in the 45th over.

IND 250/4 after 42 overs | Hardik 62 , Pandey 12

Cummins begins a fresh over. Number eight for him. Pandya has been the game changer again. Strong contendor for MoS even if its early days. He gets a boundary here.

IND 235/4 after 39 overs | Hardik 50 , Pandey 10

67 runs required off 72 balls and India are favourites from here on. The Aussies need two quick wickets in no time. Agar in his ninth over and he has been taken to the cleaners as he has been hit away for another six.

IND 206/4 after 36 overs | Hardik 31 , Pandey 0

Aussies are once again looking for a fightback as Ashton Agar deceived Kohli while Richardson dismissed Kedar Jadhav. Manish Pandey walked in finally as run rate looked to soar little by little.

IND 202/1 after 34 overs | Hardik 30 , Kohli 28

Virat and Pandya look absolutely in balance as India have crossed the 200-run mark. Although it has been just about rotating striked in the last four overs of their innings. No boundaries.

IND 187/1 after 30 overs | Hardik 23 , Kohli 19

And just when Australians were eyeing a recovery, Pandya and Kohli seemed to have taken things under control with control with ravishing boundaries and astounding maximums.

IND 162/1 after 26 overs | Hardik 10 , Kohli 7

Cummins stepped in for his fifth over and outfoxed the opener trapping the ball between the legs as Rahane departed for 70. Manish Pandey...no! That was Hardik Pandya who walked in as a No. 4 batsman. Now what plan is on Virat's mind? Why this sudden change.

Agar stepped in next and SIX. That is Pandya for you. Fukker delivery and the all-rounder slogged it high over long-on.

IND 145/1 after 23 overs | Rahane 68 , Kohli 2

And finally a breakthrough for Team Australia as Nathan Coulter-Nile dsismissed Rohit Sharma. Mistimed the slower delivery went for a pull and was found by sub-fielder Hilton Cartwright in the deep. Well, that made away for Virat Kohli. India now need 149 more runs to wrap up the series in their favour.

IND 132/0 after 20 overs | Rahane 58 , Rohit 70

There is just so little to say about India's blazing innings at Holkar Stadium. A batsman's paradise and Rohit and Rahane's brilliance with the willow is just an example of it. The latter notched up his 21st ODI fifty as India are racing to 294.

IND 106/0 after 16 overs | Rahane 45 , Rohit 58

Stoinis back in. Second ball, Rahane this time, slaughtered the ball down midwicket for a boundary. Fourth ball, length and flatter down to the leg side as Rahane drifted it down to fine leg for a four again. And third one came in too. IND 8/0 after 3 overs | Rahane 4 , Rohit 2

Nathan Coulter-Nile stepped up for to share the new ball for the second over. A certain cahnge was noticed in his six deliveries that he had bowled. Cummins in for his second over and just a single from it.

IND 1/0 after 1 over | Rahane 1 , Rohit 1

AUS 281/6 after 49 overs | Agar 2, Stoinis 24

Bhuvi comes in for the last over in his spell. Stoinis needs to get as much strike as possible. The Aussies have had a terrible time to get going since Finch has been back in the hut. In fact of all the batsmen back in the hut, not one having a strike-rate of 100 or above.

AUS 232/2 after 39 overs | Smith 58, Maxwell 1

Maxwell getting promoted because Australia need to make the most out of the remaining overs and Maxi is of course Australia's most-dangerous batsman. Pandya in his final over. Over ends with a boundary for Smith. Pandya's figures one for 58. Read out report on Finch's ton here.

AUS 146/1 after 27 overs | Smith 27, Finch 73

Bhuvi comes on for his seventh over. Both batsmen now looking really solid. Australia have Handscomb at number seven. That is one heck of a line-up with the bat. Finch gets another six here.

Bhuvneshwar now back into the attack. He is now in his sixth over. On strike is Finch. Finch collects two off the first ball of the over.

It is very interesting that India have some of their own records to play for. No Indian team has ever won more than nine consecutive ODIs. Kohli's team is currently on eight wins. Australia meanwhile have won 10 or more in a row six times with a world record of 21 conescutive wins! Chahal comes into the attack. Kohli takes a shy at the stumps as Finch gets saved. TOSS: Australia have won the toss and have elected to bat

New Delhi: The Virat Kohli-led Team India can take an unassaible 3-0 lead in the five-match ODI series against Australia by winning the third ODI in Indore.

The Men in Blue are leading the series 2-0 after winning the first two ODIs.

India won the first ODI in Chennai by 26 runs (DLS) before winning the second game in Kolkata by 50 runs.

The third match of the series will be played in Indore.

While there are chances of rain, the match should go ahead as scheduled. Australia have struggled in their batting in both the ODIs and will look to turn that around. '

The Indian top order has also not fired in this series and given the nature of Indore pitch, this could be an ideal ground to get some runs.

Kuldeep Yadav took a hat-trick in the second match to help India win. Even Indian pace bowlers have done well to trouble the Australian batsmen and keep them at low scores.

The third ODI promises to be another tight contest between the two teams.

Teams:

India: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli(c), Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni(w), Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravindra Jadeja, Lokesh Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav
