India vs England: Rohit Sharma back to lead in T20s and ODIs, no rest for Virat Kohli

Keeping in mind the short time gap between the last day of the fifth Test and the start of the T20I series, the All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked two different squads for the three 20-over matches.
Rohit Sharma, who has been ruled out of the Edgbaston Test after testing Covid-19 positive, will return to lead the sides in both T20I and ODI series against England, beginning on July 7 in Southampton.
Shikhar Dhawan will be back in the Indian team in the ODI setup. Not that he was dropped but India have not played an ODI for a long time. Rohit will be leading the same squad that won 2-0 series vs Ireland. Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna have been included in the ODI squad while Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been given a rest from the one dayers. He featured in the T20 sqaud though. Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja will feature T20s and ODIs as Indian spinners. No place for Umran Malik in the ODI side but Arshdeep Singh gets a look in.
