The second ODI between India and West Indies saw over 600 runs with centuries from Virat Kohli and Shai Hope. India set a target of 322 and West Indies paced their chase well only to lose a flurry of wickets in the middle and late overs. With Hope in the middle though, the visitors managed to take the match to the final over and a boundary off the last ball ensured the match ended in a tie.

Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the Indian bowlers, picking 3 wickets after skipper Kohli dominated the Windies bowling attack, having opted to bat first, with a stunning 157.

India still lead the five-match series 1-0 but West Indies would now hope that the momentum from the second clash carries them past the finish line in the matches to come.

Here are the highlights:

West Indies 321/7 (50 overs)

# Hope gets a boundary! He has managed to tie the match for West Indies. What an absolute cracker of a match this.

# Double taken. Hope on strike for the last delivery. He can either go for a tie by hitting a four or power his way to a six, a win and glory.

# Wicket! Nurse departs. India back on top. Seven needed now of two.

# Single off the first delivery, leg byes for a boundary and there is a tense silence all around.

# Final over coming up. West Indies need 14 off the final six deliveries. All hopes now on Hope.

# Windies need 45 runs from 36 balls as the match enters its most crucial stage. The onus lies on Shai Hope to lead the visitors on to victory after ensuring a mature performance so far. Skipper Jason Holder will be looking to play a supporting role. West Indies 286/5(45 overs)

# Kuldeep Yadav delivers for India with a sharp delivery which Powell failed to properly neutralise, handing a simple catch to Rohit Sharma at slips. Rovman Powell 18(18) West Indies 253/5 (37.3)

# Powell and Hope will be looking to stitch a steady partnership at this stage and ensure a steady conclusion to the chase which can set the stage for a maiden win in the series. West Indies 251/4 (36 overs)

# Rovman Powell, the big hitter is the next man in.

#Wicket! Hetmyer has departed rather tamely after attempting to smash a length ball into the stands but without proper direction, handing an easy catch to skipper Virat Kohli who celebrates wildly. Shimron Hetmyer 94(64) West Indies 221/4(31.5 overs)

# West Indies batsmen Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope have been extremely effective for the West Indies, with excellent performances under pressure having lost 3 wickets early on. The target seems increasingly achievable at this stage with the Windies inching closer to a maiden win. West Indies 205/3 (30 overs)

# 7th Half Century in ODIs for Shai Hope who has provided valuable support to Shimron Hetmyer at the other end with some sensible batting. Shai Hope 50(64)

# 100-run partnership between Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope

# Shimron Hetmyer brings up a well-deserved half-century with a beautifully struck six against Yuzvendra Chahal with the spinner singled out for preferrential treatment by the batsman. West Indies skipper Jason Holder will be expecting Hetmyer to deliver more of the same.

# 50-run partnership between Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope!

# Indian Skipper Virat Kohli has opted to attack Shimron Hetmyer directly by giving Kuldeep Yadav an extended spell. Yadav has enjoyed success against Hetmyer in the past and the decision may well ensure rich dividends in the coming overs. Hope and Hetmyer have attempted to steady the chase despite the loss of early wickets with Hetmyer looking to take the bowlers on. West Indies 124/3 (19 overs)

# Shimron Hetmyer walks down to the crease for the West Indies!

# Kuldeep Yadav has delivered the goods yet again with a stunning delivery which left Samuels in a state of shock and confusion. The ball hit the stumps before the batsman had any time to react leaving the Windies 3 wickets down. West Indies 78/3(11.6 overs)

# Marlon Samuels is the next man on the crease!

# Kuldeep Yadav strikes with the ball just when the Windies were building a strong partnership deceiving Chanderpaul with a tricky delivery which shattered his stumps. Chanderpaul scored 32 runs in 24 balls and seemed set to lead his side on to a stable start. West Indies 64/2 (9.3 overs)

# Shai Hope is down at No 3!

#Wicket! Kieran Powell perishes after attempting to smack Shami Ahmed into the stands without any proper connection, with fielder Rishabh Pant completing an easy catch. Powell will be disappointed after being guilty of reckless shot selection in the past as well. Powell 18(20) West Indies 36/1 (6.1 overs)

# West Indies openers Chanderpaul and Powell have ensured a fine start for West Indies despite a stiff chase combining caution and aggression to ensure a steady flow of runs. # India 321/6 (50 overs)

# Kohli is the main man at this stage for India and seems all set to register yet another century which will set the stage for a strong finish. MS Dhoni will be looking to keep the pressure going at the other end with some swift running between the wickets. India 216/3 (39 overs)

# Virat Kohli emerges as the fastest batsman to score 10000 runs in ODI cricket surpassing legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Ricky Ponting.

# MS Dhoni makes his way down for India

# Wicket! Ambati Rayadu who seemed all set to bring up his century has been bowled by spinner Ashley Nurse off a fast delivery. Rayadu is furious with himself. Ambati Rayadu 73(80), India 179/3 (32.2 overs)

# India seem all set to get past the 300 scoreline considering the clinical partnership shared by Kohli and Rayadu with finishers like Pant, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja yet to feature in the clash. The Windies need to dismiss the duo early if they wish to enjoy a reasonable target during their chase. India 169/2 (31 overs)

# 102-run partnership between Virat Kohli and Ambati Rayadu with India comfortably poised at this stage. India 142/2 (27 overs)

#Half-Century fror Ambati Rayadu who has stitched a steady partnership with the skipper, rescued the side after a poor start early on. Ambati Rayadu 50(61)

#Half-Century for Virat Kohli who has been increasingly impressive with the bat so far.

# India 108/2 (21 overs)

# 50-run partnership between Ambati Rayadu and Virat Kohli. India 93/2 (17.3 overs)

# Ambati Rayadu and Virat Kohli have been cautious early on after losing in-form openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma cheaply. Spinners Ashley Nurse and Devendra Bishoo have been increasingly persistent and will be looking to dismiss the skipper, further exposing the largely untested Indian middle order to pressure. India 78/2(15 overs)

At the same time, the bowlers had a night to forget with pace-bowlers Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed failing to make their presence felt.
