New Delhi: The IPL 2017 auction was as buzzing as an IPL match. Out of of 352 players in the pool, only 66 could make it further. Some players made their debut, while some went into new teams and some big names like Ishant Sharma and Imran Tahir failed to even bag a contract.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (5 players for Rs 15.40 Cr)
Sunrisers Hyderabad (8 players for Rs 8.65 Cr)
Out of 66 players sold, 39 were Indian players and 27 were overseas players. While Ben Stokes was highest bid overseas player (Rs 14.50 Cr) by Rising Pune Supergiants, Karn Sharma was the highest bid Indian players (Rs 3.2 Cr) by Mumbai Indians.
