New Delhi: Flamboyant all-rounder Hardik Pandya blasted Ashok Dinda for 28 runs in frenetic final over of the Mumbai Indians innings against Rising Pune Supergiant in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Thursday in Pune.

At the start of the last over, the visitors were precariously placed at 154/7. But once the over started, Pandya made a merry, hitting three sixes of the first three balls.


He followed it up with a four, then a six. That's already 28 runs from four balls.


But Pandya departed off the next ball, run out.


The over, however, went onto leak 30 runs as that run out was off a wide, then there was also a bye.

Thanks to that over, Mumbai helped themselves to 184/4 in 20 overs. But, as it turned out, it wasn't enough to beat Pune.


Pune captain Steve Smith played a gem of an innings, scoring an unbeaten 84 off 54 balls in their seven-wicket win, with ball remaining in the match.
