Ben Stokes (England, All-rounder)


England's all-rounder Ben Stokes would be one of the players to watch out for in the IPL auctions for 2017. Stokes' recent form made him one of the top-catch for the franchises. Considering his hard-hitting abilities and bowling variations, every team will be itching to rope him in their squad.


Stokes, was the eighth highest run-getter in the ODI series against India, scoring 120 runs at an average of 60, but what is worth more credibility is his strike rate of 146.34 which was the highest among the top 10 of English batsman. With ball he surely can do a lot of damage as he was the fourth highest wicket-taker in the English side.

Ishant Sharma (India, Pacer)


Ishant Sharma will be one the premier bowlers to be up for grabs in the auctions. He is presently the spear-heading the pace attack in Indian team and with the ability to move the bowl at pace he surely will be one of the lethal weapons in anyone’s side.

Mohammad Shahzad (Afghanistan, wicket-keeper batsman)


Mohammed Shahzad is one of the most lethal power hitters of recent times. The Afghanistani batsman surely knows how to hit the ball out of the park with his stand and deliver shots. One of the top players to watch out for at the auctions will be New Zealand's Colin de Grandhomm. The Kiwi all-rounder, who gained a lot attention from his batting as well as bowling abilities in recent times, has a career strike rate above 136 from seven innings in T20Is.


Grandhomm, is in the form of his life after scoring 139 runs in four innings with an average of 46.33 and strike rate of 220.63 in the Super Smash, New Zealand's domestic T20 competition. With his bowling too he has done some serious damage to opponent team, grabbing as many as 38 scalps at an average of 29.42. He has a career economy rate of 9.22.


These stats make him one of the prime all-rounders available to be grabbed at the auction.
