But on Sunday, the former India opener surprised everyone with yet another epic Twitter post, wishing South African legend Jacques Kallis on his 41st birthday.

In the same post, Sehwag also gave Kallis a new name, which sounded more Indian and literally more relevant to the all-rounder's ability.

Kallis, regarded as one of the greatest cricketers of all time, has an unrivaled feat of scoring more than 10,000 runs and take 250 wickets in both Test and ODI.

After making his international debut in 1995, in a Test match against England at Durban, he went on to represent the Proteas in another 165 matches.

He scored 13289 runs at an average of 55.37, with 45 hundreds. He also took 292 at an average of 32.65 with a best match figures of 9/92.

In ODIs, he has scored 11579 runs in 328 matches, with 17 hundreds, while taking 273 wickets.

For the record, he is the second-highest scorer of Test centuries, behind only Sachin Tendulkar's 51. And he is the third most prolific run maker in Test, behind Tendulkar (15921) and former Australian captain Ricky Ponting (13378).

Often described as the colossus of South African cricket, Kallis ruled the world cricket with his all-round abilities, and no doubt, many wondered if he is the greatest cricketer of all time.

He retired from international cricket in December 2013, but still continues his association with the sport with stints at many leagues around the world.

He is the current coach of Indian Premier League franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders.
