Indian skipper Virat Kohli and opening pair of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma all shone with the bat to help India beat West Indies by four wickets in the third and final ODI of the three-match series at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha on Sunday. With the win, India have clinched the series 2-1.

Chasing a respectable target of 316-run to win, Rohit (63) and Rahul (77) not only smashed blistering half-centuries but also stitched a huge 122-run stand for the opening wicket to give the Men in Blue a perfect start. Subsequently, Kohli--who was dismissed for four and a duck in the first two matches--came up with a much better performance with the bat as he notched up 85 runs off 81 balls to help India cross the mark with eight balls to spare.

Keemo Paul was the pick of the bowlers for West Indies for bagging three wickets.

Earlier, Nicholas Pooran smashed an 89-run knock while West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard well-supported him with 74 runs as the Caribbean side posted a score of 315 for five in their stipulated 50 overs.
