Hello and welcome to the second game of the Nidahas T20I tri-series between India and Bangladesh from Colombo. LIVE SCORECARD India lost the tri-series opener against Sri Lanka on Tuesday by five wickets after Kusal Perera's assault on the Indian bowlers that saw him blaze away to 66 off 37 balls. Rohit Sharma and the team management will look to address the problems in both batting and bowling departments. Shikhar Dhawan scored 90 off 49 balls but an average effort at the other end left India at least 20 runs short. Young batsman Rishabh Pant will be particularly under the scanner after he alarmingly struggled against the Lankan spinners on Tuesday. In the bowling department, apart from Yuzvendra Chahal and Washinton Sundar, the rest, especially Shardul Thakur, left a lot to be desired. India can't afford another defeat today as it will jeopardise their 'final' chances a great deal.
India have restricted Bangladesh to 139 in 20 overs. It might look a under-par score but Indian batsmen will have to apply themselves in the middle to get across the line. The wicket is slower than that used in the previous game. From Bangladesh, Liton Das and Sabbir Rehman scored thirties each while Jaydev Unadkat and Vijay Shankar ended with three and two-wicket spells respectively.
