LIVE India vs Australia, 4th Test, Day 5: That is it from BGT 2023

From Rohit Sharma's masterful performance in the city of oranges to Virat's extravagant innings in Ahmedabad, there were numerous captivating moments that enhanced the glory of this fiercely contested series. The emergence of Murphy, the persistence of Lyon, the determination of Khawaja, the astuteness of Ashwin, the batting prowess of Axar, the consistent performance from Jadeja, and the excellence of Gill were some of the other highlights of the series. Although players like Labuschagne and Smith didn't make a significant impact in the series, they still gained valuable experience. Despite India's 2-1 victory, they had to work hard for it, just as they did in 2017. India has now concluded their red-ball campaign for this season, and the next season, following the IPL, will begin with the WTC final in early June, where these two teams will once again deliver a masterclass.

LIVE India vs Australia, 4th Test, Day 5: Steve Smith on draw

Did end slowly. Was a pretty flat at the back end. The boys had a great time. The hospitality has been amazing. The crowd has been amazing. We started to play better as the series went on. The madness in one hour in Delhi cost us that game. The wicket here was too flat for us to force a result. The spinners bowled really well. Murphy and Kuhnemann bowled with composure. Lyon bowled his best in the first innings here, the best I have seen him bowl. I am getting a bit old (on asked if he will be touring India in four years time).
