Live Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi: That is it!

It's a rematch of last year's final as Lahore faces off against Multan. This is the first time that Lahore has successfully chased a target this season, and they did it at a critical moment. Despite losing three wickets, young player Tahir Baig continued to play his shots and found a reliable partner in Billings, who used his experience to guide Lahore's innings. Their 50-run partnership kept the team on track, even though Baig's running was questionable. He had already run Shafique out, and Peshawar missed an opportunity when they did not appeal for obstructing the field after Billings curved his run and was hit by the ball while out of his ground. After Baig and Billings were dismissed, Sikandar Raza's brief innings helped bring Lahore closer to their target. Finally, Shaheen Afridi hit a six to secure Lahore's spot in their second final in a row. Peshawar will be disappointed, as they had a good score on the board, and Lahore had lost all of their games while chasing this season. Also, Salman Irshad and Aamer Jamal did not get the reverse they had in their previous match. Too many predictable slower balls into the pitch did not help either. Although Babar and Co. may feel frustrated, Sammy still wears a smile at the end.
