New Delhi: Gautam Gambhir's form in the ongoing Duleep Trophy made fans believe that a comeback in the Indian squad for the New Zealand series is very likely.
The Delhi batsman was running for a place in the 15-man squad as a replacement of Shikhar Dhawan, Murli Vijay or Rohit Sharma. It was unfortunate for the 34-year old since the BCCI opted to stick the the trio and snub Gambhir despite impressive run of form.
Despite the set-back, the left-handed batsman isn't willing to give up on his hope of making a comeback to the Indian squad once again. He made his future plan clear with this tweet:
Remember the guy who gave up ? Neither does anyone else! pic.twitter.com/kUtDuglMEz

Earlier after being ignored, the he took Twiter to share another message with his fans and followers.
I'm disappointed but not defeated; I'm cornered but not a coward. Grit my partner, courage my pride...for, I must fight, I must fight...
